Will AI take my job? Maybe or maybe not. But it can certainly help ease the shortage of skilled workers by automating routine tasks and supplementing human skills. Jon France, CISO at ISC2, sheds light on how generative artificial intelligence is addressing this critical challenge.
Generative AI is a valuable tool for cybersecurity practitioners, France said. “Generative AI can improve the signal-to-noise ratio by helping manage and contextualize large volumes of security data. It can be used to offload repetitive tasks and provide additional context to security incidents, making security teams more efficient,” France said.
